Fall Fundraiser - Aug 17, 2010 to Sept 8, 2010 |
 Each fall, we kick-off our magazine subscription fundraiser to benefit our students. The success of the program depends on your participation.

You can support us today, you can shop on-line! It’s easy… visit www.qsp.com and click on ‘Just Shopping’. Then enter our school code 425011415 and make your selections. All sales from July 1, 2010 to the end of the sale will count towards prizes. It’s that simple!

Membership Contest Deadline Oct 1, 2010 |
The student who gets the most outside members wins a $25 iTunes gift card! Deadline is October 1, 2010. Suggestions include; grandparents, both parents, aunts, uncles, local merchants, and so on. To enter; download the membership form, fill it out and turn it in to your homeroom teacher along with $5 per member. Make sure YOU get credit towards the prize by completing the section for student name, grade and homeroom teacher.

Show your school spirit by wearing T-shirts, sweatshirts or carrying gym bags that identify you as a Creekland Eagle! Spiritwear is sold at school events, including Open House Days, Curriculum Nights, and PTA meetings, and can be ordered through forms provided to every student.  Two Ways to Purchase Spirit Wear: In person at one of the sales dates listed on our Calendar of PTA Events.

Help Wanted |
There are many ways you can stay involved as a parent of a middle schooler. Volunteering at the school is a great way to gain insight into your child's school life. If you have a couple hours to spare, we can use a few extra hands at certain events and programs such as handing out prizes for Fundraiser or being a chaperon at a Social. We also need a few folks to oversee the following PTA committees: Community Outreach
This committee arranges for community service projects, within its budget, for PTA to sponsor. It can work with groups within the school like Builders Club and Beta Club. Health & Youth Services
This committee supports the school on Red Ribbon Week, which is the drug awareness week. The school has historically done the work and we provide some funds. Also the school arranges for several speakers to come in on the subject of gangs, safety, drugs, etc. This committee also helps the health faculty to screen for scoliosis and provide lunches for the nurses who come in. Parent & Family Involvement
This committee works with our counselors to bring seminars to parents. This committee helps coordinate the speaker, catering etc. These are mostly evening courses. If you can help, please complete the form on the right. If you have questions, please contact us at creeklandpta@live.com. |
